Skooled has different account roles because students, parents, and tutors each require unique tools to succeed.
Student
Choose **Student** if you are booking lessons for yourself. Students can:
Search for and view tutor profiles
Book lessons and join live classes
Message tutors directly
Rate and review tutors after their sessions
Parent
Choose **Parent** if you are helping a child learn. Parents can:
Add a child’s account and manage it
Book lessons on behalf of a child
See the child’s full lesson history
Join a lesson as an observer to track progress
Tutor
Choose **Tutor** if you want to share your knowledge on Skooled. Tutors can:
Create a professional tutor profile
Set subjects, levels, languages, and rates
Manage their teaching availability
Complete identity verification
Teach live lessons and receive payouts through Mobile Money
Can I use more than one role?
Skooled is designed around the specific role you choose. If you think your situation requires more than one role, please contact support before creating a second account.
What if I chose the wrong role?
Don't worry—simply contact support as soon as possible. It is much easier for us to fix the account early than to merge activity across two separate accounts later.
