Getting Started

Navigating the platform

Skooled is organized to make learning and teaching as simple as possible. Your menu will automatically adjust based on whether you are a student, parent, or tutor to show you the tools you need.

Dashboard

The dashboard is your starting point after logging in. It shows important shortcuts, upcoming lesson updates, and any next steps for your account.

Find Tutors

Students and parents can use Find Tutors to search for an educator by subject, topic, or name. You can also filter by:

Subject and education level

Language and hourly rate

Ratings and availability

Use search when you want to explore, and use filters when you know exactly what you need.

Messages

Messages help you communicate with people connected to your lessons. Use them to:

Ask a tutor a question before booking

Clarify specific lesson details

Follow up after a class

Let someone know if you are running late

For your safety, do not share passwords, Mobile Money PINs, or private account details in messages.

Lessons

The Lessons page is your hub for managing classes. You can use it to:

See all upcoming scheduled lessons

Join a live classroom

Review your past lesson history

Check specific details or actions for a lesson

If you are not sure where to join your class, always start from the Lessons page.

My Tutors

Students can easily see tutors they have already learned with. This makes it easier to:

Book the same tutor again for consistency

See how many lessons you have had together

Leave or update a review based on your progress

Settings

Settings is where you manage your account. You can update your name, profile photo, password, tutor details, and availability here.

Wallet

The wallet area provides a transparent view of your transactions. If any payment detail looks incorrect, please contact support so we can verify it for you.

Mobile and desktop use

While Skooled works on mobile browsers, live lessons—especially those involving the interactive whiteboard—are best experienced on a **laptop or desktop**. For video lessons, we recommend using the strongest device and internet connection available to you.
