Ready to start? Here is the step-by-step process to secure your first session on Skooled.
Step 1: Choose a tutor
Open the tutor’s profile and review their subject expertise, rate, and intro video. Make sure they teach the specific topic and level you need help with.
Step 2: Choose a time
Pick one of the available times shown on the tutor’s profile. Before continuing, double-check that the date and time are correct for your schedule.
Step 3: Review the booking
Before proceeding to payment, confirm:
The tutor’s name and the subject
The lesson date and time
The lesson duration and total amount
It's always best to ensure these details look right before you pay.
Step 4: Pay with Mobile Money
Enter the Mobile Money number you want to use for the transaction.
Keep your phone nearby and unlocked.
Wait for the Mobile Money prompt (USSD) to appear on your phone.
Approve the prompt by entering your PIN.
**Important:** Return to Skooled and wait for the page to refresh with a confirmation. Do not close the window immediately after approving on your phone.
Step 5: Check your lesson
After payment is confirmed, go to your **Lessons** page to ensure the lesson appears there. When it is time for class, you will return to this page to join the session.
Before the lesson starts
To ensure a smooth experience:
Check your internet connection.
Use headphones if you have them to avoid echo.
Allow camera and microphone access in your browser.
Have your notes or questions ready!
If something goes wrong
If money was deducted but the lesson does not appear on your page, email **support@unlikly.com** with your account email, payment details, and the tutor's name.
